My journey began long before I ever called myself a coach. Back in middle school, a teammate told me, “Sarah, I think you’re going to be a Life Coach when you grow up.” I laughed, not knowing what that meant, but a seed had been planted.
Years later, a college roommate jokingly referred to me as her “Life Coach.” I brushed it off because I was set on becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist. But the idea kept resurfacing.
In 2014, during a coaching session I’d been gifted, the coach paused and said, “Sarah, my intuition keeps telling me youneed to be a Life Coach. You should look into getting certified.”
That was the third time someone told me this, and I knew it was no longer a coincidence.
Soon after, I got certified, worked alongside the president of a coaching company, and gained invaluable skills. Eventually, I knew it was time to follow my own path. And Sarah Michelle Coaching was born.
